I have many happy years of Dartmoor Letterboxing behind me, and am starting to get into geocaching. Back in 1979, an artist called Kit Williams buried some artisan craftwork near Ampthill, Bedfordshire, and produced a beautiful book called Masquerade. It was full of pictorial clues to the buried treasure, and endorsed by the then host of University Challenge. That, and my letterboxing background, gave me the idea for this event. The clues are on Amazon Kindle as a short e-book, which can be read on phones, tablets - just about everything nowadays!
